California saltwater seasons and the lures to run

• Bluefin tuna, June to early November. The peak out of San Diego is July to September. Drop a Slim Jig (40 to 220 g) on an Offshore Jigging Rod, built for 250 g and 350 g jigs. Read the California bluefin season outlook.
• Yellowfin tuna, mid-July into October. Troll HooMagic bullet heads over a Magic Ballyhoo, which never washes out. Yellowtail peak in June and July.
