Game Changer Tog Jigs: The Original, Unbendable Blackfish Jig

Experience the jig that revolutionized tautog fishing. Developed by Magictail Outfitters in 2014, the Game Changer Series was born from the need for a better blackfish jig—one that doesn't snag easily and never gives up on a trophy fish.

Why the Game Changer Lives Up to Its Name:

  • Unbendable Custom Hooks: Engineered with our own heavy-duty 4/0 and 5/0 hooks that are guaranteed never to bend, even under the pressure of a double-digit white-chin.
  • Collar-Less Design: We removed the traditional collar to allow for maximum crab bait application and reduce bait loss, keeping your presentation natural and effective.
  • Snag-Resistant Head: The flattened bottom and optimized head shape are designed to deflect off rocks and sticky structure, keeping you in the strike zone longer.
  • Free-Swinging Action: Oversized hook eyes allow the jig to swing freely, enticing even the most selective bottom dwellers.

Whether you're fishing the back bays or deep-water wrecks, the Game Changer Series provides the durability and action you need to dominate the saltwater. Stock your tackle box with the industry pioneer today.

Tautog range from Massachusetts down through New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Maryland, and Virginia, with the best bite running October through April as the water cools.
