Tuna Fishing: Yellowfin, Bluefin & Bigeye

Three species, three different games. Yellowfin run hardest in the Mid-Atlantic canyons July–October and the Gulf and Southeast May–September. Bluefin hold a nine-month Northeast season and a winter fishery off North Carolina, plus a summer run out of San Diego, California. Bigeye are the night and deep-drop specialist's fish, best July–October in the Northeast canyons.
